I have been on the faculty at Wofford since 2000. During that time, I have taught principles of economics, American economic history, public finance, regulation, and other courses. I’ve led interim travel projects to Australia, New Zealand, Europe (Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, France), and Thailand. I serve I am Senior Fellow at the Mises Institute in Auburn, Alabama, and am Senior Associate Editor with the Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics. I’m also Associate Editor of the Journal of Libertarian Studies and the Christian Libertarian Review, and I’m on the editorial board of Political Economy in the Carolinas. My research includes work on environmental regulation, property rights, and the ethics of market systems, resulting in multiple journal articles, policy papers, invited lectures, op-eds, and Congressional testimony on these topics.as faculty sponsor for the Wofford chapter of Americans for Liberty (YAL) and Reformed University Fellowship.
